MAKE IN INDIA is an initiative launched by the Government of India to encourage multi-national, as well as national companies to manufacture their products in India.

This project is done for the LODHA Group, Mumbai. This sculpture is inspired from the lotus flowers seen at the site. So this Lotus sculpture is made to add beauty to the riverfront of the project.

A global initiative by Volkswagen, Think Blue is an eco-friendly, resource-efficient way of living. It’s about caring for and most importantly, taking action to protect the environment. Volkswagen has associated with me, an artist who creates art out of scrap.

Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Steampunk perhaps most recognisably features anachronistic technologies or retro-futuristic inventions of people in the 19th century.

The brief of the project is to represent ‘FREEDOM’. Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. So I have created this pair of wings sculpture to represent freedom, flight, success, boundless, etc.

This project was executed in collaboration with The Urban Vision supported by Hiranandani Group. We did recee in various departments of Hiranandani group and sourced out different kinds of scrap materials from them.

Since House of Hiranandani is into Housing and construction business. We pitched for creating a mural art that represents the bird’s eye view of a city. The ideal scrap material to represent a city was the motherboards of a computer.

This sculpture is made for LODHA GROUP, Mumbai. This bird sculptures is to represent the migratory birds that comes to the river which is situated along the project.
